Zach, also known as El Jefe , is an Arlington, Virginia native, founder of 
High Key Events™, and majority shareholder of Drop Dead Records™. Since the beginning of
his promoting career, during the Fall of 2019, it seems his passion & true respect for the DC nightlife
& music scene resulted in pure momentum. He quickly became one of DC's Top Promoters while working under "K-Mystery Productions". Booking  VIP Tables for Celebrities,  NBA Players, & DC's Elite soon became the "norm". However, his longtime love affair with music, began early, emerging with private piano lessons at the age of four. Throughout those lessons he  learned to read and write Classical Piano sheet music & shortly after began composing. He soon grew to to be very fond of the piano, after realizing the cute girls in his class enjoyed his playing. In addition to the piano he studied Drums & Percussion at the private prep school of  College Heights Christian School . There he had ranking seniority over his fellow bandmates & seniors while he was only a freshman. Here is where he truly fell in love with music, jazz music to be more specific. A lot of his appreciation for jazz grew from his band instructor Mr. Todd Johnson. He clearly remembers a high school jazz band practice where Mr. Johnson sternly shouted in front of the entire jazz band "Ben! (who was a senior the time)  you do not have Seniority over Zach on the  drums"This iconic moment truly boosted Zach's confidence on the drums. After receiving multiple 1+ scores in an array of state competitions he decided to enhance his repertoire by adding the drum kit to his resume. Luckily both of his parents were musical and were open to financing his private music lessons. He studied alongside local prodigy "Nate Kinast"a well known drummer who studied at the private school Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School. After having multiple private teachers Zach thoroughly earned the dynamics of drums and the Music Theory of every possible genre. He even studied the works of Neil Peart, who is indisputably considered the
best drummer of all time. While still in school Zach furthermore had private one on one Music Theory Courses taught bye a private professor Kara, who was graduated fromThe Juilliard  School of Music
in NewYork City. It was there where he perfected  his understanding of music theory as a whole.
Zach has recently pursued his most recent endeavor to compose, produce, and record his
debut EP which will be exclusively released by DropDeadRecords this
upcoming Fall of 2026.
